Bishop Saba of Georgian Orthodox Church in North America visits Georgian Orthodox Church in Toronto.



Dear friends and parishioners, Bishop Saba of North American Eparchy of Georgian Orthodox Church will be visiting Holy Icon of Mother of God Georgian Orthodox Church in Toronto from 3rd of December to 4th of December.

Bishop Saba will arrive in Pearson Airport at 8am

His holiness will be celebration with us The Entry of the Most Holy Theotokos into the Temple.

Saturday evening, 3rd of December, celebration will start at 6pm at Georgian Orthodox Church in America at 10 Howarth Avenue, Scarborough, Toronto.

Divine Liturgy for The Entry of the Most Holy Theotokos into the Temple will start at Sunday morning, December 4th at 10:00 am at Georgian Orthodox Church in America at 10 Howarth Avenue, Scarborough, Toronto.


 
Bishop Saba will be departing for US Sunday evening at 8pm.

Devastating flood in Tbilisi, Georgia Devastating flood in Tbilisi, Georgia Dear all, Many of you are aware of the catastrophe that occurred in the capital of Georgia, Tbilisi, on the night of June 13th. Due to heavy rains, the River Vera flooded, completely destroying some houses and residential buildings as well as damaging others. As a result of the natural disaster, dozens of families are displaced. Flood related human casualties have already reached 20, and 6 are still missing. As well, there are innumerable animal losses.
